4-1 ATS playoffs --- at 41-6, will call the Seattle game on a TKO --- added Rams (-2.5)
4) SEATTLE (-6.5)(-125) --- all of these involve some buys
--- we all saw what happened a few weeks ago when these teams played,
Seahawks can just rely on their defense and running game to win this one
handily --- TE Kittle is no less than the 3rd most important skill position
player (behind CMcC and Purdy), the team survived against Philly but there
is sort of an aftershock when losing a key player, including all of the
blocking he sets up on other plays --- have never been a big believer in
Darnold, but he doesn't have to do much here to get a DD win....W
5) NEW ENGLAND (-2.5))-140)
--- here, the difference is Maye over Stroud, whom I'm never trusted
and where Vrabel will ratchet up the heat to see if the Pats can duplicate
the two fumbles and an INT that Stroud had against Pittsburgh --- Nico
Collins is out for this game most likely, Stroud misses a lot of throws and
home field will be huge here W, 28-16
6) LA Rams (-2.5) (bought), will go for the sweep today, SGP below also
This last one is a
bit of a lark, SGP --- taking the Rams on the ML and OVR 46.5 against the
Bears, pays +129 --- ridiculous to talk about Stafford not playing in the
cold, he played for over a decade for the Lions where last time I checked
that involves outdoor games at GB and Chicago --- if the Rams get a good
lead, they will not let the 4th quarter Bears get back into the game, but
they will keep scoring --- have fun all, Smitty

All I can say is

What a freaking game! Both of these games were crazy but this Chicago
win was one of the most improbable I have ever seen after not being able to
score a TD until the 4th qtr where they scored three. I'm thinking early in
the game that this coach will lose his job after his 2 failed 4th down
attempts from inside his own territory. This was an incredible
comeback.
Tomorrow a 3 game day . Best of luck to all.

1) JAX (-1.5)
- on the one hand, you might think this is the year for Buffalo and
Josh Allen to finally reach the SB, and it may be, but folks are looking
past the Jaguars, where Liam Coen has Trevor Lawrence playing his best
football ever, along with a nice complement of skill position players ----
also, McDermott is a terrible coach and should get fired after he loses
this game --- Allen only has James Cook for assistance and Jags defense is
very under-rated...L. solid game, could have gone either way, Bills 27-24
2) San
Francisco (+6.5) - this number is getting silly, the Niners are
still a solid team with strength at the skill positions along with key OL
Trent Williams most likely back for this one --- Philly offense has been
sluggish all season, they may win, but in a close one if that... W, outright, 23-19
3) NEW ENGLAND (-3.5) --- I
would normally buy off the hook to get to (-2.5) but it's too expensive and
I don't think it's needed against an injured Charger team and where NE and
QB Maye have been rolling all season --- W, dominant defense for the Patriots --- 16-3
Good
luck and have fun all --- for the MNF game, Pitts hosting Houston, it is
worth noting that the Steelers have won 23 STRAIGHT MNF games, we will see

you make a profit by betting against them in each of the remaining game
(hedging). For instance, I bet $100 on Carolina to win the Super Bowl. If
they were to win, and I don’t hedge, I’d win $16,000. So, for their
remaining games, up to 5 if you count week 18 I would bet against them on
the money line. Say 300 on the money line on Tampa bay. If Tampa wins, I
net $100 profit. If Carolina wins, I continue hedging. It’s a long way to
go, and Carolina is not going to win the Super Bowl, so I’m just trying to
find out what other peoples strategies are going forward. I’m sure other
people followed Ball Hog as well.

I’m sorry that I’m unable to reference the author of the system. I’m not
having luck searching the archives (maybe due to recent issues). My
question is about hedging this system. For those who didn’t follow, the
picks this year were Carolina and New England. I got Carolina at 100 to
win 16000, and the patriots at 100 to win 8000. I know the idea is that if
either makes the playoffs, we are guaranteed to win via hedging. Unless
I’m mistaken, since Carolina is in a win and you’re in (and since the odds
are so long, we could start the hedging in week 18. Just wondering if
anyone else is in on these and what they are all planning to do. thanks

--- have to admit Ben Johnson has had one of the best rookie coach

This NFL
Forum is now a test forum and all old posts have been cleared out as our
Tech Mgr is trying isolate what our intermittent "glitches" and "time-outs"
are being caused by. Some are experiencing them and others may not
be. I use several different browsers and when one has an issue usually a
different one doesn't Hopefully it
